Ministry of Health Malaysia 1 - Airscan

Ministry of Health Malaysia

Scope

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) monitoring & assessment at government hospitals under the Ministry of Health.

Project Overview

The main objectives of this ongoing project is to analyse indoor air quality conditions within hospital buildings to maintain safe building environments for the occupants.

(Airscan Malaysia works with the concessionaires managing all Government Hospitals and Clinics in Malaysia as their IAQ Partner and Assessor).

Result

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Assessments have been conducted at many government hospitals across Malaysia. These include hospitals in all main cities, Kuala Lumpur, Kelantan, Cameron Highland, Sg. Buloh, Putrajaya, and more. As a result of these ongoing IAQ Assessments, rectification works are proposed. A main component of the work provided by Airscan is the installation of real-time IAQ monitoring sensors, which now allows the ministry a clear picture on air quality issues in hospitals within Malaysia.
