Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur

Indoor air quality monitoring for Gleneagles Hospital KL.

Project Overview

The main objective of the project was to monitor and evaluate the condition of air quality in all areas of the hospital. Assessment was conducted based on the guidelines set by the Industry Code of Practice on Indoor Air Quality 2010 (DOSH Malaysia).

An 18-day assessment covered all 3 buildings of the hospital. Almost every department was assessed in terms of Indoor Air Quality inspection to compare the monitoring results with the analysis from occupants’ interviews about their comfort in the workplace. This assessment was also done to introduce and spread awareness of Indoor Air Quality and Sick Building Syndrome among the occupants.
